Character of the Month
Irori (いろり Irori) is the eldest of the Setsugetsuka Trilogy by Shouko Karyusai. Often seen with Shouko, she faithfully carries out her duties and follows her orders strictly, considering them to be of utmost importance. In terms of her personality, Irori is different from her younger sisters. She is neither emotional like Yaya, who becomes easily frantic in critical situations, nor is she flirty and cheeky like Komurasaki. Instead, she deals with Raishin in a professional manner, and remains calm and focused in her duties, regardless of the situation.

Shortly after regaining his consciousness, Raishin asks Henriette about her hatred of dogs. Clarifying that she actually loves dogs, she recounts about Alfred, Charlotte's favorite dog Automaton. Raishin realizes that this must be the mishap that led to the downfall of the Belew family. Crying, Henriette blames herself, and confesses her jealousy and hatred towards Charlotte throughout the years. She is desperate to die but Raishin persuades her otherwise. Instead he repeatedly demands for her true wish. Finally, she admits she wants Charlotte to be saved, bringing a determined smile on Raishin's face as he leaves the room.
Raishin manages to catch Magnus' attention, and while doing so, he gets a glimpse of one of the latter's Automaton, who resembles his late sister, Nadeshiko. The next day, Felix Kingsfort, head of the Disciplinary Committee, asks Raishin to investigate and defeat Cannibal Candy, as part of a valuable deal.
